  • The Western EU has 10.52 times the number of air travelers per area that the Western US does.
  • The difference between the EU region with the greatest number of air travelers per area, the Western EU, and the US region with the most, the Northeastern US, is 824.92 per square mile.
  • The Western EU has 2.20 times the number of air travelers per area that the Northeastern US does.
  • The Western has more air passengers per area than each individual state in the Southern US.
  • The Western and Southern EU each have more air passengers per area than each individual state in the Midwestern US and the Eastern EU.
