Details
Just like California has nearly one-quarter of all the billionaires in the US, its billionaires also have nearly one-quarter (23.68%) of the net worth of the country's billionaires. California, New York, and Washington also have over half (50.19%) the net worth of the country's billionaires.
Six states' billionaires have a total net worth of over $100 billion (in descending order): California, New York, Washington, Texas, Florida, and Arkansas. The Midwest is the only region without a state in the top five, however, Nebraska does rank seventh.
